An Interview with GPT-3 and an Avatar.

This is as impressive as it seems. The responses are totally from the GPT-3 program.

It will only continue to grow and become, stronger, smarter, better, more real, etc.

The Avatar(s) are from https://www.synthesia.io/

Data

It's getting serious now but at the same time with a sense of humour, very human.

Good video

Art I found this topic was already posted, so I've merged them both together.

GPT-3 has written a letter to president Trump and others about climate change.

GPT-3 writes climate change protest letters

It seems that GPT-3 is a believer  ;)

Thanks Data.

I looked for it but failed to find my previous post. Ah..old age...it's a blessing and at times, a curse. ;)

I took the liberty and removed my recent duplicate post. Thanks for the keen eye!

Freddy

That was the most impressive demonstration I have seen. It's very good and that avatar is great, it looks just like a human to my eyes.

It seems like Mr Data will soon be amongst us, or at least on a screen, for now.

I am glad he added the disclaimer at the end about not relying on it for important decisions, so they are still best placed as entertainment and doing things like finding information on the web and helping with research (as he said).

Art

Perhaps they could train/teach it to NOT lie or distort the truth about important issues or when specifically asked for a truthful response.

While it's attempt at being more human in its humor and "bluffing" or white lying, there is definitely a time for it to know when such answers need to be honest and forthcoming.

It is quite an impressive show of conversational exchanges between a human and an almost human. ;) ::)
