Title: i7 without onboard graphics.

I found this CPU while looking for bits for a build, called the 4820K, it looks like a 4 series CPU going by the name, it is new but it's not a Haswell core, in fact it is the previous Ivy Bridge core but the good news is that it doesn't have any of the onboard graphics and instead has 10 MB Cache.

Quite a serious desktop CPU but for not too serious money.

Looks like Intel are trying for better sales of the i7 for the gamer market then.

Unlocked and Unleashed says the blurb but still 130W. Your i5 is nearer 70-80W, isn't it?

Yeah it is good to see Intel making CPU's for the PC gamers, this one is a little confusing being a 4xxx but Ivy Bridge  :scratch-head:  it also needs a Socket 2011 mobo which will put the price up.

I'm not thinking of getting one, just window shopping.

Can't see myself upgrading for a long time, window shopping is fine though  :D
