Title: Machine Structures
Post by: Snowcrash on April 08, 2010, 18:13:06 PM
Want to know more on how modern processors work?

This is a very good course and free.
http://webcast.berkeley.edu/course_details.php?seriesid=1906978485

It only goes as far as a 5 stage piped processor (Pentium 1) but it'll give you a good idea
I do believe current processors (at least P4) are 20 stage piped with risc.

Please let me know what you think.

Aha...

Found the level of this forum. Post articles and people will read. Post lectures and I get no comments.  ;D

The most interesting ones are CPU intro onwards to CPU pipelining 2
