I see the robotic hand had to learn how to do it rather than following some code, that is the most impressive part for me and seems like the best way to go.

If robots can learn then maybe the sky is the limit.

You're right about the learning part. That's what got my attention as well but that is also the main thing that makes so many people uneasy...especially people who are afraid such technology will be used for nefarious reasons.

Some people also fear what they do not understand.

Anyhow, I thought it was very cool...to let the robot figure out how to solve and manipulate the cube!
