What you're doing is cool, and you're making great progress, but "she" lives too close to the center of the Uncanny Valley for my comfort.

So bottom line is "cool, but creepy". :P :)

Thank you Dave.  Your feedback is packed with useful information.  You're exactly right about the Uncanny Valley. Now, that I'm researching how to avoid it...  What you noticed, was one of the first things I read about.  
So,  it was easy to locate where the Uncanny Valley creeped in, and figure out a simple low tech solution to address it.  That, with a few more low tech improvements will be in the next demo video, coming soon.

More cartoon like and less human like seems to avoid the uncanny valley. Can still go down the cute or nasty roads.

Much better, Tom. Not as creepy, and the motor noise was almost imperceptible. Great progress!

Now, in answer to "her" questions:

Well, I don't yet want to kiss you, but there is an improvement. :)

Yes, since you're not as creepy.

In terms of appearance, no, but that's what makes you less creepy.
