Has anyone tried Acronis Tru Image system backup program ?

I have this freebie from Scan, but was wondering if it's worth using.

I have a copy of it too but never used it.

I rarely do a full clone backup but I have used this software and it's good.
Very handy for an internet café, 'cos the customers always wreck the machines and you can get back to a clean save point in about 15 mins.
I find it hard to break Win7 (I feel putting this in writing may jinx this install) so the better the O/S the less need for it.

I downloaded the free version of Acronis, the free version will not make an image, $50 for a version that will.  I did a search in Win 8 and directions are given for making a partition on the disk and then making an image and putting it on the partition.  It uses the dos prompt and is pretty easy to use, from it you can make disks or use a flash drive.
