Title: Carbon Tracker
Post by: Data on March 29, 2020, 11:02:23 AM
It is said that every cloud has a silver lining, the virus lock-down is having a huge effect on carbon emissions around the world.

Here in the UK our electricity generation emissions have almost reached our 2030 target over the last 7 days.

A little bit of positivity in these darker times.

It's a shame it's only a temporary trend though, I feel that global warming and climate change will be around for much longer than Covid 19.

I also see that the oil prices have plummeted, there was a time when we would celebrate that but now... well it just feels awful   :(

Maybe I'm bias.
