It's arrived and looks good, there was a little bit of the gameplay on BBC click the other day, they where saying that although the game has guns it's not really a shooter because the guns can't kill the alien. I think it's going to test you in others ways, it might possibly test your laundry skills as it looks pretty scary in places.  ;D

I remember this from when they were testing it with Oculus Rift. Not sure if I am brave enough  :LOL:

This is a nice vid, explains how the game feels to play.

The more videos I'm seeing the more I want this game  ;D trying to hold out for a Steam discount.

As I'm typing this Alien Isolation is a huge 75% off on Steam, taking the price down to £7.99.

I'm going to have to grab it  :D

3.7 hours in and I can confirm that this game is capable of making you change your underwear  :LOL:

It is a very spooky sci-fi puzzle game.

Can max it out easily on my system, so easy that I have made a 300MHz underclock profile for the graphics card and still achieve a constant 50FPS. Haven't come across any large open spaces so that's probably why.

Would I recommend it ?
For £7.99 ... oh yes  :D

I've found a mod for this game that takes the graphics up a level, it was already looking nicer on the PC than a console, not to mention the superior frame rate of the PC but this mod lifts it way up there especially the reflections and shadows.

Finished this game, got 38 hours game play out of it.
