Title: Assassins Creed Revelations
Post by: Data on May 07, 2012, 18:25:23 PM
Made a video of near sunset time in Assassins Creed Revelations, I think Freddy said it about the screenshot I did that sometimes it looks like a painting, I think this vid shows off that even more, excellent dynamic lighting creates a really nice environment to explore.

Sorry about the jerky mouse movement though, try to ignore that  ;)

Very pretty, I laughed out loud when you pushed that guy in the river.  I was hoping you would go for a swim ;)

I had pretty much the same reaction.  Lovely atmospherics. I noticed that while you were walking away from that group of people, one person that I saw in the distance, off to the right, seemed to be "glowing" a little. I assume that that indicates someone "of interest"?

poor chap did not even have a chance to hold his nose, before he ended up in the water lol

Sorry I couldn't resist pushing that guy into the water, he looked like he needed a bath anyway

Yes Dave some people or things get highlighted in the game, they are points of interest, the guy at the end of the harbour is the ferry man, he can take you across the water, or you could swim if you like.

You only get to see the highlighted things because you are a master assassin and you have what is called in the game "eagle vision".

Did you see the way the guards got highlighted when they got near me, you have to keep out of their way or they might pick you out and start a fight, but that can be fun too  ;D

Awesome game, the movement of your character in game is by far the best I have played, the acrobatics and the way he slightly moves out the way of people when they get near, really well thought out.

Highly recommended for many days of fun

Yes I noticed that, very nice little touch, most games you just walk through other people.

This video shows off the game very well, I found it on youtube a while ago, then I lost it, until today, its actual mission gameplay, the fighting, the acrobatics and the lovely graphics.

Nice trailer. Looks like a great game, for those who appreciate that sort of escape. :) Not exactly my cup of tea, though.

But is tea your cup of tea? Or are you a coffee man?

lol, my American citizenship has been questioned, as I can't stand coffee, and right now I have a tea on my desk that I'm drinking, so... :P

Don't feel out numbered Dave, I don't like coffee either. I do like tea though, hmm must be the French in me :)
