Title: TrackMania
Post by: GT40 on August 23, 2012, 17:28:28 PM
When I was searching games and programs for netbooks, I discovered TrackMania (http://uk-maniaplanet.gamesplanet.com/shop/trackmania-canyon/home.html?gclid=CKTf7tGx_rECFWchtAod0SEArg).

I know, I'm a newbie, I'm naive, but WOW!! No KERS, no DRS, just an arcade mode. And even a 3D option, with glasses.

Yesterday night, one more time, my ADSL provider was off. Now I know what to do when SL is unreachable.

The realism seems nicely done for everything but the crashes. When a car rolls...it's usually over. Then again, in the video world one does get 3 plays for a quarter I suppose! Heh!!

LOL Art. I wonder why my netbook is sooo good at TrackMania (and, believe it or not, not  bad at Second Life).

In this cruel world of perfectly-equipped professional gamers, I think I must apologize... 8)

Not to worry, my friend. I know some people who still enjoy playing CUBE! Heh!! To each their own!!

Enjoy what you enjoy for one day you may not have that option!

Many thanks, Art. Unfortunately, I fear you're right...
