I remember when that sketch was first shown. Still funny.

I've always liked their songs so thought I'd post this. Is it rude?

Here's one :

I went looking for a vid of Freddie Starr, to me one of the funniest comedians. Found this one of Freddie Starr & Wayne Dobson at the Royal Variety Performance in 1989.

I used to love Freddie Starr's Mad House, I think that was what it was called.

The Day Today news spoof comedy has loads of clips to choose from but here is the weather...



I love the line ' the mist should hug the ground like an over affectionate but rather damp dog.'

Oh, and I found this music clip with Fur Q and Uzi Lover. I think all the swearing is cut but it is implied so..

Not seen this clip for years, still makes me laugh the line, "and fetch Lady Hamilton one". 





Not everyone's cup 'o' tea Russ Abbot, but he did do some good stuff now and then.

This is one of the funniest I've seen in a while.  

Absolutely had me in stitches.

Ok, must be a British thing, because it just confused me.

Is it something that can be explained? Or am I just out of luck here?

Also bear in mind the deer are protected by law, absolutely no harassing them is allowed, they have priority over everything on that land.

But Fenton the dog doesn't know that. 

Now that begins to make sense to me. Over here, there are no  such "be nice to Bambi" laws, and I never saw the pooch... Just the deer, and some guy that seemed to be trying for a venison dinner the hard way.

I'll look the video over again, but I think it's probably in the category of "If I have to explain it, then it's just not funny" category.

Maybe it's a British thing, it's akin to stealing the Queens handbag.

The video has gone viral with almost 3 million views in under a month.

I watched it again, and while I certainly didn't lose control of certain bodily functions, I did get a small chuckle or two.

Maybe I just need more tea?
