Freddy

These are in one of my tanks, some of them are around a month old now, but new one's keep appearing.  They seem very happy in there :) They are Dalmatian Mollies.

They do look happy in there, all swinging about in that perfectly clear water, they have everything they need I would say, what a life a? Mind you I'm no expert.

You said new ones keep appearing, are they breeding?

Freddy

Yes those were all born in the tank.  There is one male and two female adults who are the parents.

Ok, now you've got me wanting to dig out the camera and tripod, and go film my Mom's fish. {sigh!}

Actually, I think I'll maybe see about filming my fish, which live in our pond in the front yard. That is, as soon as I get off my lazy @r$e and drain/refill the pond, like I was supposed to last week. :)

Hehe, would love to see them

Water changes are a pain though I agree.

Diesel

Just cold water here, half a dozen fish, a few snails etc, all belonging to The Female Dictator, I only have to pay for them. There's a big black thing swimming about in there, not a clue what it is, I just know I wouldn't want it in the bath tub with me. ;D

May take a Vid and post it to see if you could identify it (more puzzles, not really). ::) :o :'(
It WILL be fine !...

Dave you wrote '@r$e' not @$$.

Good man.  :shades:  :bounce:

It's all a part of the wonderful oddness that is me. I'm surprised you hadn't noticed it before, but when I'm in certain environments where a particular culture, attitude or demeanor dominates, then I make at least a small effort to adapt, or "fit in", to a certain degree. I try not to go overboard, though, which is why I haven't said "bloke" yet. :P

By the way, if it seems that I'm poking a bit of fun, don't be concerned. I poke WAY more fun at myself. :D

It's ok Dave, I think of you as a decent bloke, and a diamond geezer too  :shades:

Even if you did poke fun at us I don't think we would really mind, well I wouldn't ... much  ;) might poke a bit back though, all in the name of fun.

Thanks for attempting to adapt to us slightly odd Brits, all the same.

Regarding the fish, I had gold fish when I was a lad, and I remember the tank cleaning and water changing being a bit of a drag, probably why I don't have them now.

Saying that Freddys tank does look like a relaxing place to focus your attention on from time to time.

I'll see what I can do about dragging the video camera out later today, just to show off the pond. And if there's enough room on the SD card, I'll think about taping the cleanout (though I'm not all that certain it'll be YouTube worthy). I just have to locate the camera's trippod, is all. :)

Well, the results were both sad and somewhat unsettling, but a promise is a promise:

Good to see you there Dave, now we know what you look like, brave man, don't think I have the guts to post a video of me like that, you'll have to guess for now  :-X.

Nice pond, whish I had enough land to be able to have one, our gardens tend to be smaller over here I guess.

It took me a while to see the tiny little fish, for a second there I thought you were leading us all down the garden path .

I took that video with my $60 digital camera, so it didn't turn out to be anywhere near as clear as I would have liked, but I didn't have access to my Mom's camera, which is a much better camera. I'll give it a go with hers tomorrow (there's a nasty thunderstorm brewing now), and see if I can't get a better shot, plus better resolution and more options for video compression.

Beautiful pool.
love it.   I know the fish love it too. Any turtles? oh, they'd probably get out in the road, wouldn't they.
I've never considered fish pool,  knowing me I'd be out fishing in it.
Good shots of you too.  Lot of people don't show self-pics.  shy, i guess.
