Well, according to the website, that footage was shot between August and October. If I knew the exact times each scene was taken at, I cuold duplicate that footage in a program called Celestia by writing  a script that causes the program's "camera" to be centered from the ISS, and capture it's motion relative to the... I'm getting a wee bit too technical, aren't I? Oops?

Suffice it to say that it would be rather cool. :) I may just do a video of it without the time indexes, if/when I ever get both FRAPS and Celestia installed. :)

Yes, of course, stupid me, but I still say I saw Italy.  :P
It WILL be fine !...

I just like da pritty pictures.  :hmm:

Sounds like far too much effort, Dave.

I've watched it twice now and think I saw Italy as well. Judging by the aurora, there's prob Canada, Russia and China in there somewhere.

I saw that page last night, and played with it for over an hour. There's a lot of info on all of the various things shown that you can read by clicking on whatever interests you. Granted, the information seems to be geared for a younger audience, but it's still interesting. :)

Found this on APOD. I have never seen geostationary satellites.

Look out for a chain of non moving 'stars' from about 3/4 of the way to top left to the center of the pic and beyond. They come and go but stay in the same position.

Except for the "one minute" part. They missed by almost 28 seconds, not counting the credits. :P

Found this cool image of trees on Mars. Well not really but they do look like it.

Notice left of center there is a dust plume where a landslide was occuring whilst this shot was being taken.

Seeing as Legion is beating me to all the news articles, I'll just keep the good pictures rolling in.

Found this one on APOD. An eclipse using a 180deg fisheye lens. Cool.
