When I grow up I would like to get a Tesla  ;D

Carl2

I do like the Tesla probably because it looks more like a typical car you'd see on the road.  I do like the Leaf because I think it is smaller and feel it is so easy to drive, maybe a tighter turning circle. I think both Nissan and Tesla need their cars to be worked on at a dealer because of the electronics which I dislike.  I'm not sure if I'd even be able to buy a used Tesla.

Oh yes there is a used Tesla market but they hold their value very well.

If I'm honest all Tesla cars are too big for me, I'm very happy with the size of the Leaf, it's just about right, maybe Tesla will bring out a smaller car in the future that would be more suitable to our roads in the UK and Europe. Robert mentioned that in the video, the model 3 is a great car but too big for him.

Since the Tesla models are so popular I checked the latest model Y on you tube, this video it a bit long but contains a lot of features that might not be covered in other videos.

I had wished he put more in on the automatic driving features but that's not covered in detail.

Thanks for putting the model Y video in Carl

I do like the car, it has an abundance of modern features to drawl over and power to go with it, just too big a car for me, even if it was considerably cheaper, I don't need that size vehicle, plenty will though.

Carl2

I myself also like the smaller size of the Leaf, in the real world I could never afford the Tesla but I'm amazed at what it can do on the road and would like to try driving one.  The leaf has some cool features but Tesla has so many more features and the mileage is much better.

Looks like fully charged has gone up another level with the new presenters Andy Torbet  8)

Here's hoping for some episodes showing the positive impact electric cars are having on our towns, cities, environment and planet. It's not all about EV's being better cars than ICE to own and drive after all.  :sign-peace:

I had tried the winter studded tires on a gas car and found they were not that much help on ice, I ended up using regular winter tires after.
