*wonders if GT40 realises it is a game*  ::)

GT40

I'm working on a song written by myself for Lady Gaga and totally unknown. You will just have to find the title. Coming soon. Maybe. :-X

Freddy

Haha!  Okay then I will wait.  But in the meantime you need to do the next set of lyrics for us to guess.

Diesel

Is it, Silence Is Golden by The Tremeloes GT40? ;).
It WILL be fine !...

GT40

Lol Diesel, this one?

Now I think I must choose something else.

GT40

With a thousand lies
And a good disguise
Hit 'em right between the eyes
Hit 'em right between the eyes
When you walk away
Nothing more to say
See the lightning in your eyes
See 'em running for their lives

Snowcrash

Aha, lyrics.

Shame I have no clue who they're by. Well not using Mk1 brain.

*nervously holding my hands together, resisting the urge to google. Must google but ...

:-X
"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

GT40

Just a little help: it was also in "Phantom of the Paradise", one of my three favorite movies. Yes, I'm not 20 y.o.  ;D

Diesel

Thanks for the tip GT40. A quick consultation with one of Teens living here for free :'(, confirmed your little ditty as, You'll Go Far, Kid by the Offspring, is this correct?.
It WILL be fine !...

Snowcrash

That seems right to me. Carefull when clicking 'cos there's a rude word.

I've never heard of them. Sounds a lot like Green Day to me. Your go Diesel.
"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

GT40

Bravo Diesel and Snowcrash! Now a video made with some images from the movie. No "visible" rude word inside.  ;D

Snowcrash

The rude word is still there.

I have never heard of the original film or the re-make. I assume the song was from the re-make.

Doesn't look like Diesel wants a go so I'll have another.

My, my,
Sun is pie.
There's fodder for the cannons,
And the guilty ones can all sleep safely,
All sleep safely.

"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Data

I know that one Snowy, and I didn't have to google it  :o

Might even name the song and artist later, but don't want to jump right in there.

Freddy

Is that XTC, forget the song, maybe Senses working overtime or something like that ?

Thats what I thought it was too Freddy.

Think I have a CD single of the song somewhere.
