Good singer with a good voice but I think her voice got lost mixing with the music, I wish I was at the mixer and could add more to bring her voice out. Oh well.
I came across a jazz station where I heard Billy Holiday, from 1920 and 30's,  I still like her voice, it seems horns are no longer used in music today.  We did have some really great singers and musicians now lost.

I like Billie Holiday Carl, and Blue Moon is a very evocative song no matter who seems to sing it.

Going again with my theme of old and new.

QuoteI find it hard to realize
That love was in her eyes
It's dying now
She knows I'm crying now

Data

I know this, just can't quite pull the answer from my brain yet.

DaveMorton

I'm in the same boat, Data. I know the song, but can't quite pull it up. :scratch-head:
Safe, Reliable Insanity, Since 1961!

Freddy

Okay, well done for not Googling.

I don't want you both to suffer eternal punishment in hell though.

Freddy

Couple more lines...

QuoteI find it hard to realize
That love was in her eyes
It's dying now
She knows I'm crying now
And every night I'm there
I break my heart to please

Data

Still working on it  :scratch-head:

Freddy

Hellishly difficult is it ?

DaveMorton

That sounded vaguely like a hint. :P
Safe, Reliable Insanity, Since 1961!

Freddy

Yes second hint, one above too in italics  :D

Data

I've worked this out at last with some help from Mrs Data also these lines kept going round my head:
Quote
And every night I'm there
I break my heart to please

Eloise  :yahoo:

Freddy

Haha well done the two of you

Data

Try this one, I've only posted a couple of lines, if I post the next 2 I think it might be a massive giveaway.

QuoteStaightenin' the curves
Flattenin' the hills

DaveMorton

Data, Data, Data. You know what a petrol-head I am. This was FAR too easy. :D

But here's a version of the song that I'll bet you've never seen before:

Safe, Reliable Insanity, Since 1961!

Data

Well done Dave, I thought you might get it  :)

You're right too, I haven't heard that version before
