Been introduced to this band "Ashes and Diamonds", still growing on me.
Watched an interview with Daniel Ash (Bauhaus, Love & Rockets, Tones on Tail) and he says the album this track comes from (release 12 Dec 2025) was 7 years in the making.
Not sure it's his best work. Comments welcome.

One of my favourite songs ever. This pushed The Pogues' Fairy Tale of New York (my favourite Christmas song) into second place to take the Christmas number one in 1987.

Another Chistmas favourite from 1984. Previously it had been number one, but Band-Aid came in for the Christmas slot, follwed by Wham! and last Christmas. Not to mention the Frog Chorus, bum bum bum!
