I had to go back again to see what you had mentioned, Snowy, and I did, indeed, see the meteor (0:52-0:55, right to left, with the "trail" it left behind sort of "bunching and curling up"), and I THINK I saw the satellite (upper middle-center, moving "slowly", upper right to lower left, and blinking?)

Dakotalapse seems to be making a name for themselves in the area of time lapse video clips. I'd probably pay full price movie admission to see a couple of hours of their work.

Yes, the satellite is the flashing thing.

It'd be the body or solar panels glinting into sunlight as it rotates. That's all I can think of and I have seen them do this but it could be a UFO.  ;D

This one's not as stunning but visiting Mauna Kea (mor-na kay-a i do believe) and keck is firmly on my bucket list.

It also shows what they do with a telescope in the daytime.

nice videos  So that's what the do in there bubbles all day  :) I sure would not want to be the one cleaning those mirrors.

DaveMorton

While it's not as stunning, Snowy, it's a fascinating look into "a day in the life", so to speak, and worthy in it's own right. :) Thanks for sharing that.

Good thing I noticed the spider in the preview, or I might of busted my screen trying to swat at it lol :)

Once again Snowy, an absolutely out standing video, I really enjoy these. Nice to see some of the rig work being constructed too.

Many Thanks.
It WILL be fine !...

Found another one. This one has a bit of everything in it.

And what scenery.

Great video I had to watch it twice :)

The softly glowing night sky.

Apparently it's not just aurora that make our atmosphere glow.

Just watch and enjoy the vid. If you want to know more click here.

Started out just fine, but then crashed, with the above message.

I'll try to watch it on Vimeo later.
