As many of you will already know, we have an Asteroid the size of an Olympic Swimming Pool heading our way. It is going to miss, but not by much, less than one LD.

Cool, for me anyway. It appears the injuries were cause by the sonic boom blowing out windows.

The latest from the Bad Astronomer is that the explosion is estimated at the several 1000 tons of TNT range.

I did actually take the time to watch this stream live, not the most exciting thing I've ever watched but, hey, I'm not going to see that again in my lifetime.

Apparently there is a rather strong chance of this thing colliding with Earth in 2080, thankfully, I won't be around for that but, hopefully, Bruce Willis will be for the sake of our future gererations.
