So it should be half the cost of the previous gen Ariane 5, impressive.

 There was a brief mention of a reusable rocket, seems to be a great idea but I wonder what the cost of recovering it is.

I would expect that if the recovered sections could, indeed, be simply inspected and reused, that process would almost have to be less than a third of making another unit "from scratch". If, however, too much damage has occurred, then you would have both the cost of recovery and the cost of having to rebuild a unit (though some parts may be salvageable), so it sounds to me like a gamble. Dunno. Too many factors to consider here, I think.
