I'm back from a great time camping with the family, but might go back out there to them there woods for some more family fun this upcoming week

Sounds great, Syber!   I'm glad you and yours had the opportunity to enjoy the "great outdoors" with each other. While it's not going to be "camping", per se, I'm planning on a small road trip for mid-July to visit several relatives that I haven't seen in years. I'm really looking forward to it.

Last time I went camping we cleverly put our tent about half way down a hill.  In the night there were torrential rains and we had a nice river running through the tent 

I do like camping though, and welcome back

I used to love camping as a child, not been for years, given the chance I might take the offer up again.

Data yea I loved camping a lot as a child as well, what am I saying  I still love camping + My wife kids love it too. It is a great way to take a break, be free from all the technology and rushing around of everyday todo's your welcome to come camping with us this week,  I know I know sort notice

Thanks for the offer Syber and it sounds like it would be fun too but I know there is no chance I could make it over to the USA by then.

I used to love camping, last time camping was when I went to the V Festival.

I took a 6 man tent......we managed to get 23 people in that bad boy with no in inthe sleeping compartments, and it was pretty comfortable too 

V Festival sounds like fun, I had to google the meaning though. I sounds like a music event as big as Woodstock, a music festival in these parts 23 people in a 6man tent, no comment!

Reminds me Have anyone heard anything about Duskrider aks Dusky, I usually get lots of great E-mail from him, but have not got any in a while. He also did not respond to a E-mail I sent before I went camping. I hope he is okay.
  I had a great time camping up into the last hour. I now have a sprained or broken big toe on my left foot long story. My youngest son is becoming a great frog catcher and fisherman.  My oldest daughter and son are becoming great at log chopping and splitting, They even enjoyed doing and actually wanted to chop the wood 

Glad you're back and had such a good time. We did, indeed, miss you (or, at least, I did). Sorry to hear about your toe. Had it happen to me once. Not fun. As for the kids wanting to chop the wood and such, yeah, they're funny that way, and will often surprise you. I say let 'em at it.

I haven't heard from Dusky in a while, either. I used to get loads of emails from him, too, mostly risqué stuff about Sandee, his "virtual hussy" (my words, not his), to the point where I had to start tossing them in the spam folder. If you have an account at AI Dreams, you can check there to see if he's posted anything recently. He's usually pretty active over there (or, was in the past).

Welcome back again and yes you were missed.  It's been pretty quiet here actually.  I haven't had any email form Dusky either lately but he did post on Dreams just the other day.

Sounds like you had an eventful time, the painful toe though ouch! Mrs D is an expert at breaking and bashing her toes, but that's another story.

Odd that you guys haven't been getting mail from Dusky, I have been getting them on quite a regular basis, in fact I had one today in my mail box. Always something to browse over and ogle at

I agree Dave Kids are funny at times. The toe got hurt at the very end, so it did not effect much
