I have to agree with Dave, the adult porn industry is going to move in and make there own creations.  Meanwhile the people making sex robots are just going to keep making robots and adding new features.   Meanwhile we are still stuck with Haptek, an age old technology that surely needs updating.  That's the problem with a money driven economy but I don't know of a better way to motivate people.

Wondering why you are still bothering with Haptek Carl to be honest. You'd get better results from something like Daz models combined with Unity.

Carl2

Actually Freddy I think I don't know any better,  you saw the short comings of Haptek long before I did.   I was able to go into the .phy and modify the physics of body parts, and into the .def  file and find some of the switches, interesting to me and possibly I made some improvements.  I'd play with Daz but I think it's not compatiable with the Hal player, I think I got that from you.  I'm still wondering why a compressor with bzip2 can not unzip a compressed file that was made using bzip2.

$3000 is really too much for me  :o

DaveMorton

I'm with Freddy. Drop a zero off the end and I'll be interested.

Have to agree with you chaps, the price needs to come a long way down before I start to get seriously interested.

Freddy

Get one of those ones I did maybe, then you can see if it's for you.

I quite enjoyed it.

The way it looks at the moment is that the Oculus Rift is one of the more reasonable options.

The Microsoft helmets are being sent into outer space, guess they are being sold to the government, 3,000 is pretty cheap for all the documentation and testing needed.
