As always, I enjoyed that thanks Snowy but I found it a little odd that there was no mention of Norwich.

It was Diesels comment.

Ohh  :Head-Slap:

Well I lived there a while and it was pretty safe compared to say London ;)

Some funny game things in this Vsauce3 episode.

I do like the MaKey controller thing.

I like comic sans but I wouldn't put it on anything official.

YAY!!! Someone who understands!!! :P

Personally, I use it extensively on my computer, mostly BECAUSE it's so hated. Well, that and it's easy to read, and doesn't look like it was typed out by someone with a stick up their @$$. :P

I've had similar conversations to this. Not heard of the Sally-Anne test before though.

And another episode...

I'd need a lot of barbecue sauce, I think. :D

One question that I've always wanted to ask is why the seasons begin and end on a solstice or equinox, rather than in between them?

For example, the Winter Solstice (Dec. 20th/21st) is the beginning of Winter. It's also the shortest day of the year, and typically is the day where the Earth's pole tilt is most aligned with the Sun (often associated with the coldest average temperatures). Yet this is the first day of Winter? Shouldn't the Solstice mark the middle of winter, instead? The "reverse" is true for Summer, as well as for the other 2 seasons.

I think it's due to older, less accurate calendars.

Because they kept going out of sync with the real year, the solstices and equinoxes were the only way to reset the year. Or work out when to plant crops etc.

I often find people who think the opposite is true but have given up correcting people or getting annoyed with them. It makes little odds, see it as you want.

I found this via  Vsauce link so thought I'd post it here.

I thought this episode was quite apt, seeing as we've been talking games a lot this week.
