Freddy

It was so long since I installed W7 that the old side gadget has disappeared from the web.

I found this new one which I really like.

Thought others might find it useful too.

I like

I've been using http://www.radeonpro.info/ for a while now, it has a very handy OSD that can show much of that information on screen in game.

Freddy

I think I tried that at one time. I'm only using the main display for games atm, so I just pop all those gadgets on a side monitor.

A neat idea, I just have two words for you Windows Ten  :-\

Freddy

You mean the gadgets wont work I am thinking ? If so yes that's a shame.

Data

Yes, no gadgets in Windows 10  :(

Freddy

Really they were not wise to remove something so popular. I suppose there will be similar apps in the app store.

Or you could use something like this :

Data, let me know if you install RadeonPro on 10 please.

Data

I have Radeon Pro installed in 10, not done much with it yet but It looks like it works, so far.

Freddy

Cool, I'll try that tomorrow then. I got my gadgets back :)

I'm installing Daz Studio atm to see what these 6 cores can do  8)

Data

What did you use to get the gadgets back ?

Freddy

Data

Thanks for that, got all my win 7 gadgets back.

For me it does slow the boot time down a bit, it doesn't bother me but I can notice it.

Freddy

Yep I thought it was booting a little slower, it's still fine though. In normal use I usually only boot up in the morning while I am feeding the fish, after that it's on for the rest of the day.

So it looks like Freddy has a hex going for him, well good luck with it.
