The headset looks wireless, you know what that means, another device that needs charging.

I see a huge battle looming between M$ and Google over wearable display optics someday soon, making the tech much more affordable. Once they become publicly available to "the masses", Google will probably step up their game and give Google Glass the same (or similar) functionality. Then we'll see a huge increase in pedestrian deaths/injuries from idiots wearing "portable" versions and not paying attention, and then the lawsuits will ensue.

but but wait a minute there Dave, that will leave room for you to create a program that flashes a big red idiot sign with warning siren in front of them when they do stupid stuff like not paying attention. who knows peoples life and car insurance might even get cheaper if they install it  you know people will be driving wile holoing 

Hmmm... Potentially a good point. Integrate it with the vehicle's sensors (mainly proximity) and it could warn the driver about potential problems, giving them up to a couple of seconds additional time to avoid problems. OR, Dad could be watching hamster porn while on his morning commute. That could go either way.

The term "hamster porn" is something that my friends and I came up with years ago to describe or label anything done on the internet that may possibly be... erm... inappropriate for younger audiences?
