Book: Old Norfolk Post Offices

Previous topic - Next topic

Freddy

I have just released the second edition of my book Old Norfolk Post Offices in digital format.

This new edition sees more images added and additional sub-postmasters and postmistresses identified. Some of the old images have been updated with better quality scans.

So far I have the digital version up for sale and later next week I hope to have the softcover print version available.

You can learn more about and purchase the digital version here: https://inkstruck.co.uk/b/oVphq

The print version will hopefully go live next week too.

Great work Freddy

I love things that give a glimpse of how life used to be.

Best of luck  :)

The proof for the print version arrived and I am very happy with it :)

It's bigger than I thought it would be, it's quite thick. The images came out really well and the paper quality is great with a nice sheen.

Later today I will organise the selling of this print version. Here's a couple of photos.

Thanks :D

I am going to hold off on putting it for sale in case there is anything I think of that might affect things. Once it's published, you cannot make major alterations, but I am 99% okay in my mind with it. I'm just double-checking everything at the moment.

I also found out today that I have to pay to send copies to the British Library - six of them! It's not too expensive, though, at about £40. Even so, it's cool to have a book in the British Library - someone a century from now may dust it down for a read  ;D

I like the idea of leaving things in the world after we're gone, good positive things that future generations can look back at.

I get the same feeling about my music on YouTube, I'm not going to delete the channel, hopefully it'll stay there long after I've gone.
