Snowcrash

And back to the Chemical Brothers. Keep hearing this one on the O2 advert.

"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Freddy

Apparently when The Beatles were working on the melody and things for Yesterday they used the lyrics...

"scrambled eggs / oh my baby how I love your legs / not as much as I love scrambled eggs"

Leftfield - Original

Can you believe this song is 21 years old, doesn't sound it to me, I must be getting old.

Snowcrash

Found this McCartney one done last year by swedemason.

"I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Freddy

Reminds me of that Master Chef one  ;D

First song on MTV played live in 2004 for the first time since they did it in the studio...

Freddy

OK I know it's Liverpool, but still. A nice one for Easter.

Freddy

Something slightly different. This is the song you get at the end of the game Portal.

I've not played the game, but a girl I know streams herself playing it and I watched a few of those sessions - looked like a lot of fun and an original idea for a game.

This song I found very catchy :)

I've got both Portal and Portal 2 on Steam. Fun games, really. I think you might enjoy playing them, Freddy. :)
Safe, Reliable Insanity, Since 1961!

The Portal song is a bit weird and cute at the same time, how did they pull that off, I like it though  :)

This one is just weird but has a really catchy guitar riff, first heard it in the game Juiced.

Freddy

I like that, sort of reminds me of some Prodigy and a little KLF  8)

Freddy

@Dave, yes I think the first one is on my wish list, I haven't played games for a few weeks at the moment though.

Carl2

Not sure what made me think about think about this song, maybe something about there will be a blue moon coming.

Glad you liked it, here's another for you  The Happy Organ

There was a time where they would make the musical instrument sound like a voice but I can't think of a name at this time.  Latter in years Stevie Wonder invented a computer device that could sound like any instrument.

Another nice one and one I have not heard before. I like a lot of the instrumentals from this period - very uplifting :)
