Don't know if you guys like Happy Mondays. The best "Madchester" band for me, closely followed by The Stone Roses. Photo finish.

Ryder I don't think liked the Madchester thing and I always found it a bit corny. Never saw them live but a few years later I saw Black Grape somewhere in London, who knows where, but it was basically the Mondays revamped including Bez - who I swear looked at me at one stage.
